2012 Blogging Report From WordPress

I got an interesting email this morning from WordPress that my 2012 “annual report” was available. I went to the link provided and was surprised to see that WordPress had basically compiled all of the information about my blogging activities in 2012 that I could possibly want. I found the information to be pretty interesting, especially some of the stats regarding how many total views I had in the year, how many images I uploaded, etc.

To make it better, at the bottom of the report is an option to share it to my blog, so I didn’t even have to bother trying to copy and paste out the pieces I would want in a blog post. By default the information is private, although there is a big button near the top right of the screen to make it public. I’m assuming that sharing it in this post will do the same.

The below pieces are automatically provided by WordPress:

Here’s an excerpt:

4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 30,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 7 Film Festivals
